There are four easy steps involved in the creation of custom artwork for your home, office and gifts.

1) The consultation, where I meet with you (including all those involved in making buying decisions) to discuss your vision for your photo session. At this meeting we discuss the type of session, how many people are being photographed and how much time to allow for photographing the session. We will consider likes and dislikes, location, clothing choices and more so that I can provide you with the best possible images. We'll also consider where you want your images to be displayed in the home.

We will discuss how the process works, "Collections" available, and pricing. The contract is signed and the retainer fee to hold the date is paid at this time. We discuss what to expect during your photography shoot and Reveal session. This is to ensure that you have an exceptional experience from start to finish.

2) The photography session, which takes place at your choice of location, whether that is your home, office, neighborhood park, forest preserve, etc. The length of the session varies, dependent in part on how many people are being photographed. This will have been discussed at the initial consultation. I allow sufficient time to capture a variety of images for you.

3) The Reveal, or ordering session, takes place a week to 10 days after the photo shoot. All decision making persons are required to be present at the Reveal where I show you your best images, which are lightly edited for color and sharpness. Once you have seen all of the images created, we begin the process of choosing which images you absolutely love. Then the fun begins as we determine the sizes will work best to suit your decorating and gift-giving needs using software that projects your images onto your walls. Archival product offerings include high quaility prints, canvas, metal prints, folios and albums. Delivery dates vary with the products selected as I use several vendors to produce the products that I offer, but dates will be determined before the order is made.

4) The delivery of your portraits is the culmination of our creation. Many clients feel it is a little like Christmas morning, because your custom artwork is presented in special wraps and bags. It is a joy to unwrap the packages and get your first look at your new piece of your family tapestry.

If you choose I can arrange to have your custom artwork hung for you. The place for it was decided at the Reveal, and now is the time to put it up on the walls. No one wants to see their beautiful pieces of art stacked behind a chair because there isn't someone who takes the time, or has the skills necessary, to hang their artwork in their home or office. I can remove that obstacle for you so that you can enjoy the displayed photographs of your family tapestry for many years to come.
